Kandahar, Ali Fazal's upcoming Hollywood film, is one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year. In the USA, the film will debut on more than 2000 screens. As the movie prepares for its US premiere today, the actor posted pictures from the set on social media. In addition to Ali Fazal, who plays Kahil, the film also stars Gerard Butler.Ali's first action movie, Kandahar, was directed by Ric Roman Waugh and primarily filmed in Saudi Arabia's Al Ula region. A release that wide in the US alone is massive and being an action spy thriller, there is a wide audience for the film. A wide release coupled with a major weekend in the US, I’m hoping for this to be a banger. The film has all the elements to be a complete entertainer”.
