Dr. Anthony Borrelli has lived in the Chicagoland area for almost 40 years after being born and raised in New Jersey. After completing his medical and surgical training in the Chicagoland area, he and his wife remained here to raise their two daughters.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Borrelli completed four years of postgraduate surgical training while serving as Senior Resident during two of those years. Immediately after completion of his residency, Dr. Borrelli served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.
In 1988, he returned to the area to begin full time clinical practice with the Weil Foot & Ankle Institute, where he has remained for over 30 years. Outside the office, Dr. Borrelli is committed to serving his community through his tenure on the District 64 Board of Education and by leading a local committee to raise community awareness and funding to rescue a historic Depression-era mural from neglect.
Today, he remains actively engaged with his daughters’ activities, including the Local Indian Scout organization, local soccer and dance teams, musical recitals, and academic endeavors. In his spare time he enjoys relaxing with his family and reading historical fiction.
