Thomas Miyamoto Jr, 41, died on Jan 21, 2024 at Maui Memorial Medical Center surrounded by family and friends.

Funeral services will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints, Maui Lani Chapel @ 1300 Maui Lani Pkwy, Kahului on Feb 17, 2024.

Public Viewing will begin at 9 with service at 11am. Burial will be at Maui Memorial Park at 12:30.

Thomas was “Mr. Aloha” and enjoyed making friends with anyone. He graduated from Baldwin High School, Class of 2000. He enjoyed playing sports and played football and track & field in high school. He became a pickleball enthusiast and met weekly to enjoy the game and socialize with friends.

He was a member of LDS Scouting Program and earned his Eagle Scout rank. He attended American River College in Sacramento for a semester before leaving to serve a 2 year LDS mission in Colorado. On his return he enrolled at BYU Hawaii to continue his education.

He continued to live in the Laie-Kahuku area until 2019 before moving to Maui to start his own business,TM Distributing LLC. His business eventually closed due to covid. In March 2020, he was employed with Ferguson Enterprises until his death. He loved his family and friends and developed many close and lasting friendships.
